Forest Poem!

Hello everyone,
This week as a class we made poems. The task was to make one about a forest. I felt that by looking at a few examples I was ready to go! This was a very fun task to do. I went into it trying to make my forest sound as sad and lonely as I could. Writing the poem I actually felt bad for poor forest I was writing about, it was also very creepy and gave me chills down my spine.

Here is my poem!

Rainbows aren't really working out for me, here's a creepy forest ...






The Forest
The forest creaks as it awakens,
If you enter the forest you will be shaken.
The twisty trees twist till you can not breathe,
when the twisty trees stop it will make you heave.
The leaves will cry for help,
as their misery can not be helped when they yelp.
The wolves will not howl any more,
As their howls are tired out forevermore.

When you enter this forest you will feel deep in sadness,  
It used to be great but now it is badness.
The sorrow of this forest lies forever in the darkness,

deep in despair, the forest waits for someone and some company to be therewith.

Hello everyone, Today My sister and I did a science experiment. It did not really make a big reaction, but you could tell what had happened. It was really cool and to see what reaction we got was good. It was very colourful and it looked like a piece of art! What you need : 2 bowls food colouring - I and my sister picked red, blue, pink, yellow ( but it is your choice ) Oil Water and a fork if you want to use it What the reaction is : The reaction was when oil and food colouring was put into the water the oil from the bottom of the bowl can up to the top, created something that looked like bubbles. Term 2!

Hello everyone, As you know New Zealand is in Level 4 of lockdown.  So I have been staying safe at home.  I have been doing lots of walking and biking around the neighbourhood, and keeping up my fitness in any way possible! Painting My sister and I have also been painting. Painting has been very fun.  We have painted lots of boxes and making them into 'Letterboxes'.  Which has been very fun to try out. I painted a big yogurt box lids, and I also painted two boxes, one of the boxes was really thin and really long it was used to hold the lining in, and the other box used to hold bottles, it was the box I made into a letterbox. The decoration on the yogurt lids and the lining box was rainbow and on the other box, it was splashed with different colours! Decoration Easter has recently been too as you know.  So we decorated the house Easter themed. It was very fun to decorate the house! St Patrick's day! Kia ora everyone, On Tuesday it was St Patrick's day! As a school we all dressed up in green and white, it was very fun to dress up! As it was St Patrick's day I am going to share some information about Saint Patrick!  Saint Patrick's birthday is on 17th March. His full name is  Maewyn Succat He was born in Roman Britan  When he was 16 years old he was sold in slavery St Patrick was born in a Christan family He brought Christianity into Ireland Green is the national colour of Ireland, so that is why we wear that colour on St Patricks day Thank you for reading - Ruby S
